The Superocean is Breitling's answer to the deep: high pressure resistance, clear dials and a design language reinvented time and again over the decades.
The evolution of the Superocean
In 1957 the first Superocean appeared as a dive watch rated to 200 metres, available as a three-hand model or as a chronograph.
The Slow Motion chronographs of the 1960s, whose hand completed a single rotation in 60 minutes, are sought-after collector's pieces today.
From the 1990s the line was repositioned as a modern sports-watch family, complemented by the Superocean Heritage with its vintage character.
In 2022 Breitling reworked the Superocean, aligning it formally with the Slow Motion models of the 1960s, in sizes from 36 to 46 mm.
