Vagabondage
Three chapters of a free form
The Vagabondage trilogy is Journe's formal outlier: a tonneau-shaped case, wandering hour displays, and three limited series that together form a self-contained story.
The evolution of the Vagabondage
The Vagabondage I was created in 2004, initially as a unique piece for an Only Watch charity auction, before being produced as a limited series. It displays a wandering hour on a tonneau-shaped case.
In 2010 the Vagabondage II followed with a jumping hour and jumping minute — the first wristwatch to make both displays jump digitally, driven by a remontoir.
In 2017 the Vagabondage III completed the trilogy: jumping hour, jumping minute, and an additional jumping seconds, produced in platinum and red gold in 68 examples each.
All three chapters share the same case concept and openly displayed mechanics without a classic dial — within the collection, a deliberate break from the Souveraine line.

What to look for when buying
- 01
Complete trilogies in matching metal are valued separately and considerably higher on the market than individual pieces.
- 02
Production numbers are very small; availability is the limiting factor, not demand.
- 03
Numbering, original case, and certificate are value-critical on limited Journe series.
